Bevin Hill, soprano
Soprano Bevin Hill has captivated audiences with her radiant charm, comedic brilliance, and vocal finesse in a wide range of leading operatic roles. Praised as a “rubber-kneed goddess of slapstick,” she is equally acclaimed for the emotional depth and technical precision she brings to dramatic repertoire.
Recent highlights include the world premiere of Feather on the Wind—written for her by composer Thomas Ludwig—and solo appearances with the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra and the Ludwig Symphony Orchestra. A frequent favorite with Opera Company of Middlebury, her portrayals of Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), and Lisette (La rondine) have earned both critical and audience acclaim.
Ms. Hill has appeared with companies across the country, including Arizona Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Pacific Opera Project, and Opera Saratoga. She holds a Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under Catherine Malfitano, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University. A Georgia native, she was a District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
